St Marks came together in celebration of National Farmers Day with a joyful afternoon full of community spirit, fun, and appreciation for our farming families.
We had a truly joyful afternoon at St Marks on Friday 10th October as we celebrated National Farmers Day with a fantastic PTA-led event. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible PTA team and all the volunteers who helped make the day so special — from bringing animals to school to setting up crafts and activities that the children absolutely loved.
Our school value of RESPECT was at the heart of the celebration, as we took time to appreciate the dedication and hard work of farmers in our local community and around the world. Their tireless efforts to provide for us all deserve recognition and gratitude.
Children came to school in their wellies, ready for fun, and the playground was buzzing with excitement. They decorated biscuits, played games, climbed into Farmer Glen’s tractor, named his calves, and enjoyed freshly baked pasties — all while learning about the vital role farmers play in our lives.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, brought animals, and helped create such a memorable experience for our children. Your generosity and community spirit made this celebration truly special. ๐ด๐ฎ๐
